It's time for some trivia!

Back in 1969, British composer Alan Hawkshaw recorded the “Blarney’s Stoned” which was used as the theme tune for 1970's Dave Allen's television shows The Dave Allen Show and Dave Allen at Large.

Did you know that The Blarney Stone is a block of bluestone built into the battlements of Blarney Castle, Blarney, near Cork in Ireland and according to legend, kissing the stone endows the kisser with the gift of the gab (great eloquence or skill at flattery)??

WFP covered this tune and recorded live during their promo video & photo shooting at DP Studio on July 6, 2013. Here is the setting up video for that day! Hope you enjoy it!

Chameleon trivia!

Did you know that Herbie Hancock originally played this funky bass line intro of Chameleon on an ARP Odyssey analog synth? Our bassist, K. Stamou, tried to simulate this sound using Qtron, an analog envelope filter and the Bass MicroSynth by EHX. (well, at least he tried... :) ) Do you dig it?

Pre-release party @ D.Poupalos Studio!

Playing music with friends for friends, fills you with extraordinary vibes and every musician should feel this even just for one time! We really had a great time at the studio of our friend and photographer Dimitris Poupalos, having a gig as part of promo video and photo shooting for the new WFP line up as well as for the upcoming debut single!
We'd like to thank Dimitris for his amazing effort to accomplish this project and each one of our close friends and partners who were there!
